Welcome to the Essex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (EEEAC). The Essex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre offers free and impartial advice to householders on all aspects of energy efficiency. The EEEAC work closely with all the local authorities in Essex helping to cut the amount of energy used in homes and to reduce CO2 emissions and tackle climate change.

As they are experts in energy efficiency, they will be able to advise you on which energy saving measures are most suitable for your home.
Our experts:
- Are the only advice service which can provide impartial information on home energy efficiency due to our status as an independent, not for profit organisation
- Have a good knowledge of your area and understand the local housing stock, for example, they can help you find out whether or not your house has cavity walls
- Can advise you on any grants and offers that may be available to help towards the costs of installing measures
- Know your local installation market and so can recommend suitably qualified trades people
- Have experience of helping people like you take effective energy saving actions from the start of the process to the end

The Essex Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (EEEAC) network was established in 1993 and now consists of 46 EEAC and 3 Sustainable Energy Centre (SEC) pilots across the UK. The EEAC network is funded by the Energy Saving Trust (EST) with additional funding from local authorities and other local partners.
Each EEAC is available via a national freephone number. You will be put through to your local EEAC, wherever you call from.
EEAC's provide free and impartial advice on a range of energy related issues. This advice will help you save energy at home, money on the fuel bills and ultimately reduce your impact on the environment.
